Review: Makeup Eraser

Hi girls, it's Nazia with a review for you today!

The subject of today's review is the famous Makeup Eraser, some of you may have heard of this product (and didn't really think much of it) whereas some of you may love it just as much as I do. I'll be giving you the low down on this genius invention.

This is what the official website claims..

"The Makeup Eraser cloth removes make up completely and quickly using no chemical or cleanser, saving the user money and time each and every day. This gentle cleansing process promotes healthy facial skin because it does not affect the skin's natural acid mantle. The Make Up Eraser is made from a specially knitted polyester/silk fibre which is many times finer than human hair, when wet the eraser creates a hydro-mechanical process that breaks the surface tension of the oils that bond make up to the skin. Makeup Eraser even removes waterproof and smear-proof mascara, HD makeup and lipstick. The Eraser is double sided and has a slightly longer nap on one side for gentle exfoliation, whilst the other shorter side is for the 100% removal of all makeup, the Eraser is suitable for all skin types, even for the most sensitive and troublesome skin." -  http://www.makeuperaser.co.uk/faq-236.html.

My Opinion..

I can truly say that I totally agree with everything written above. I have always used a makeup remover which had chemicals and sometimes even alcohol in it, which we all know is bad for our skin. So when I came across this product I was a little sceptical at the fact that this pink polyester cloth will remove all my makeup and even the stubborn waterproof makeup, but to my surprise, just warm water did the trick. It was shocking! Quick and easy with no messing around. One side is for erasing the makeup and the other can be used as a gentle exfoliator. Did I also mention it's machine washable (we all know how convenient this can be.. Stick it in with the colours wash.. Job done). It lasts 1000 washes (which for me is definitely worth the money). It does look a mess when you're finished with it, which may shock you looking at how much makeup is left on the cloth but it just shows it's removed more or less all of your makeup. Once I've used the makeup eraser I go straight into my normal night time cleansing routine.

I purchased mine off Ebay for £15 including p&p, but on the UK website it is selling for £15.99 with £2.51 p&p.

It is well worth it girls, spending a little bit now will be well worth it in the long run. It's super travel friendly and no repurchasing is involved.. Well after it's been used 1000x it is but you get what I mean!

Hope you all enjoyed my first post!
